Terms of Use

These terms govern access to and use of the NotaryBaseOS platform provided by Notary Base. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms.

Service purpose

Notary Base provides tools through the NotaryBaseOS platform for managing signing-related business workflows. The service does not provide legal advice, determine whether a notarization is lawful, or replace a user's professional judgment and compliance responsibilities.

Account responsibilities

You must provide accurate account information, protect your login credentials, use the service only for lawful business purposes, and promptly report suspected unauthorized access.

Professional and order information

Users are responsible for the accuracy of credentials, order details, documents, status updates, payment information, and communications they submit. Users must maintain any commission, insurance, background screening, training, or licensing required for their work.

Payments and third parties

Some payment features are provided through third-party processors. Additional processor terms may apply. A signing company remains responsible for payment obligations it undertakes unless a separate written agreement states otherwise.

Acceptable use

You may not misuse the service, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, upload malicious content, violate another person's rights, or use assignment information for an unauthorized purpose.

Availability and changes

Features may change as the service develops. We may suspend access when reasonably necessary for security, maintenance, legal compliance, or violations of these terms.

Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided on an as-available basis to the extent permitted by law. Notary Base is not responsible for the professional acts of users, the accuracy of third-party information, or delays and failures outside its reasonable control.
